Kait Ireland

AMP SMR HQ Certified Specialist 

Kait grew up in Mission Viejo and graduated from Capo Valley High School in 2009. She attended UCLA where she salsa danced, was a member of the Bruin Marching Band, and worked as an EMT for the UC Police Department until she graduated with a B.S. in Physiology. In May 2018, she will complete her M.S. in Kinesiology with dual emphases in sports conditioning and orthopedic rehabilitation from A. T. Still University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, Rock Tape certified, and certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). She has worked with athletes of all ages and sports, and most notably, interned at Cressey Sports Performance, where she learned how to train baseball players, especially pitchers, from one of the best strength coaches in the field. In addition to her work as a Specialist at AMP SMR, she privately trains adult and youth clients and continues to develop her passion and expertise in sports medicine and science. She “practices what she preaches” by living an active, healthy lifestyle, and when not working, she enjoys pursuits like backpacking, weight lifting, rock climbing, and shooting, as well as spending quality time with her friends, family, and puppy.
